49th Annual Grammy Awards, Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA, February 11, 2007.As I sat in my hotel room waiting to leave for the Grammys, I turned on CNN...call it mid-afternoon, Pacific time...the top three stories were:
- Iraq
- Barack Obama
- The Police Reunion
No commentary from me on the list, just amazement at how well-received the whole thing was at the time...I guess you have to take into account the fact that they really walked away at the total top of their success...
